Terms of Purchase

Order Cancellations

  • There is a 25% handling charge on all merchandise returned within 5 days of invoice date.
  • A request to cancel an order *prior* to shipment is subject to a 3% cancellation fee of the invoice value, or a minimum fee of $15 (whichever is higher). This fee is imposed due to the non-refundable portion of payment processor transaction fees mandated by credit card merchant services.
  • In the event that an address change is requested after the placement of an order, the order may need to be cancelled, reprocessed, and subjected to a 3% reprocessing fee.
  • Although rare, Moses Auto Supply Co. reserves the right to cancel and fully refund an order before shipment occurs for inventory control, price adjustment, or logistical reasons.

Installation and Mechanic Verification

Mechanical and electrical items (such as engines, transmissions, transfer cases, differentials, ABS modules, starters, and alternators) are only warranted when installed by an ASE certified technician. The installer must be an ASE certified technician or works under an licensed garage.

Items which have security programming requirements (such as engine computers, keyless entry modules, and speedometers) must be programmed by a licensed dealership or programming facility. You must provide a service ticket showing ASE verification in order to qualify for any parts replacement claims.

Shipping and Transit Liabilities

We are not liable for delayed or late shipments due to weather conditions, carrier volume delays, customs inspections, or unforeseen circumstances. Once the package has left our showroom, the buyer must contact the carrier (FedEx, UPS, or LTL freight provider) directly to resolve delivery issues. We do not cancel or refund orders due to transit delays.

Standard freight shipping includes delivery to a commercial business address with access to a loading dock or forklift. If you request residential delivery or liftgate service, extra fees will be applied.

If the purchaser is not present to receive the delivery, the purchaser agrees to assume all liability for items left at the delivery address without a signature.

Customer agrees to provide a working email address and telephone number. If the customer is unreachable during freight scheduling, Moses Auto Supply Co. will cancel the order and issue a refund minus restocking/transit fees.
